I remember thinking why did we drive? It was such a long way through England, France, Belgium and into Holland. We should have driven to London and got the train to Amsterdam.

On our way there we stopped at a nice beach (town name?). And also stopped at a giant indoor market in Rotterdam where we made a video for mum of the beautiful south song about Rotterdam

I can’t remember the accommodation, what was it Sally?

Oh and the “sail” was on. Big boat festival with thousands of boats of all sizes that come every year to sail around.

We took a canal boat tour of all the canals and Sally enjoyed learning the word “gracht” meaning “Canal”.

We had of course had the Turkish chicken pizza

Oh and on this trip Sally got much more brave with the bikes. We hired bikes and went on quite long journeys. We got lost and turned the wrong way and accidentally came across a Banksy art gallery. We went in and enjoyed it
